UMFS Charterhouse Play Therapy Donation Suggestions

The Community Service Committee is collecting items for the new UMFS Play Therapy Center at the
End of Summer Celebration on Thursday, September 1 at the Independence Golf Club.

 

Students at the UMFS Charterhouse School have mental health struggles, and most have been through
some pretty traumatic experiences. UMFS has found that play therapy is a great way for them to work
through this. It's preferred that art supplies and sensory items be new.

 

Attendees will receive one (1) raffle ticket for every three (3) donated items.
Raffle tickets will also be available at the event with proceeds going to UMFS.

The raffle prize is a two-night stay with breakfast for 2 each day at the
Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel.
