John Sarvay is the founder and principal consultant of Floricane, a strategic planning and facilitation consulting firm in Richmond, Virginia. Since launching in 2009, Floricane has supported the organizational change needs of hundreds of associations, nonprofits, small and mid-sized businesses, and localities and government agencies. John is a conceptual, big picture thinker who emphasizes stakeholder/community involvement as an important way to drive engagement and surface challenges and opportunities during times of strategy and change. When he’s not transforming the way organizations think about their future, John coparents a tween, tries to have lunch or dinner with his new college freshman at least twice a month, writes novels, and takes his Australian cattle dog on endless walks
