VSAE SUPPORTS MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR RICHMOND YOUTH
VSAE Annual Auction Benefits Beacon Tree Foundation

November 10, 2020

The Virginia Society of Association Executives (VSAE) will hold its “12 Days of VSAE Silent Auction” from November 30 through December 11. In response to COVID-19, this annual event will be held virtually this year for the first time.

Auction proceeds will benefit VSAE’s educational programming as well as a designated charity. This year’s charity is the Beacon Tree Foundation, a Richmond-based organization helping children battle mental and emotional issues, a major health issue since the onset of the pandemic.

“We’re excited to continue this annual VSAE tradition of giving back to our local community and proud to support Beacon Tree’s efforts helping families get access to mental health care for their children in this uncertain and stressful time,” said Terry Monroe, VSAE Executive Director.

“We’re committed to champion every child who is struggling and every family who is in crisis. That is how we will bring mental illness to its knees, rather than bringing us to ours. Thanks to the support of VSAE and its members, we can win, one child at a time, then another and another,” said Tom Leahy, founder of the organization.

Visit vsae.org/12daysofvsae for more information about donating or bidding in the Silent Auction.
