Are there any sessions specifically for new attendees at the conference?

Yes! The New Member and First-Time Attendee Mixer on Sunday, May 4 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. This mixer is a social and informational event for both new members and first-time attendees, where they can mingle with representatives from VSAE's Membership Committee, Mentor Program, and Board of Directors.

I want to bring a guest to the conference. What can they attend?

Spouses and guests can attend certain conference functions at the rates listed below but must accompany an individual registration. It includes the Sunday Opening Reception, Monday reception, dinner, and after-dinner entertainment.  The Spouse/Guest registration does not permit attendance at other conference sessions or meetings. If your guest would like to attend conference sessions, they would need to purchase a full conference registration at the non-member rate.

How do I create and find my personalized conference schedule?

To further enhance your conference experience, the Official VSAE mobile app, Engagefully by RD Mobile, allows you to create your personalized itinerary for the conference. It will become available to you in early April.

The app is designed to help you navigate the conference, connect with other attendees, and engage on social media. You may view the mobile app as a web app that you can open via mobile or desktop browser here. Once downloaded, search for VSAE and tap on it.  Contact Dana Parker at [email protected] if you need assistance.

Can I earn continuing education credit at the conference?

Yes, you can earn 7.75 CAE credits by attending educational sessions, including the opening and closing keynote addresses, shared interest group (SIG) meetings, and breakout sessions.

How can I reserve a hotel room, and what are the rates?

To reserve a room at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, use the reservation links provided in your registration confirmation email.

What is there to do in Roanoke?

The Roanoke Valley is like no other destination in America. With urban delights and activity in bustling downtown Roanoke to classic small towns, there is so much to explore and discover.

Where should I go if I need help on-site at the conference?

For help or questions about something conference-related, the conference registration desk is the best place to try first. A VSAE staff member will always be there and can call other staff members or hotel staff if needed. They will have 'Staff' indicated on their conference name badges.
