As his 40-year career in Hotel Management was reaching its peak, André van Hall went suddenly blind in 2011. He consequently lost his job. Talk about Change! His family, friends, and associates helped him become curious about alternatives, getting him out of the darkness of despair. He now travels the world as a professional speaker with an emphasis on motivation, change management, and staff development.

Key takeaways:

  1. Change is not the enemy, but how you deal with it certainly can be.
  2. Stop judging the situation, but assess it instead.
  3. Curiosity reduces the stress caused by change.
  4. Change is inevitable, but personal growth is optional.
