Seminar: Professional Leadership Workshop - Tools You Can Use to Inspire and Influence Those Inside and Outside Your Organization

A charismatic leader articulates a vision for the organization and motivates those who work for him or her. The traits that enable people to lead, inspire, and garner respect can be learned. In this high-energy, interactive session, you will discover critical communication skills, including how to project an image of authority, the importance of a positive attitude, and how to think on your feet and respond in a clear, concise, and substantive manner when called on unexpectedly in a meeting.

Lunch Presentation: Dangerous Documents: Avoiding Embarrassment and Scandal in Records and Emails

Are you ever horrified by an inflammatory statement written by one of your staff members?  You are not alone. Every day we read or hear about statements that have embarrassed individuals and their organizations. There is an answer! We will view real-life examples of emails and other statements in documents that have had disastrous consequences. You will learn how to protect your organizations from such unwelcome surprises and potential scandals. When you leave, you will have access to resources that will enable you to motivate your staff to write clear, correct, and appropriate documents that will not be misinterpreted.
