8:30- 9:30 AM – Welcome and Relationship Building

9:30-11:30 AM - Deep Dive Session: Adaptive Strategy Approach (2.00)
Associations and their leaders face numerous challenges that can significantly impact their performance, growth, and even survival. Now more than ever, associations need to be agile and build strategic plans that can easily evolve their organizations. As leaders look at goals and priorities 3-5 years ahead, they need to do so with the understanding and flexibility that the environment changes rapidly and they need a process to check in regularly and adapt/reprioritize as necessary

Part 1: Organizational Direction: Growing? Thriving? Dying?
Before leaders can determine goals and priorities for the future, they must begin with a deeper understanding of their organization's current position on the organizational lifecycle and how to navigate the path toward their desired future state. We will explore key indicators and stages of the lifecycle, identify common challenges and opportunities at each stage, and develop strategies to effectively manage organizational growth and change. Through interactive exercises and practical case studies, participants will leave with a clear roadmap to assess their association's current state and chart a course for future success.

Part 2: Where Do We Go from Here?
Having identified where your organization fits on the organizational lifecycle, leaders and boards must look both internally and externally at how best to align resources and community needs to build their envisioned future.

11:45 AM-12:30 PM - Networking Lunch

12:45 – 3:45 PM - Deep Dive Session: Deeper Learning Through Inquiry (3.00)
This is a session without solutions. So often, in the pursuit of the ‘right’ solution, we quickly move past the questions we need to ask. Imagine if – instead of being quick to share your experience or opinions – you instead listened with the goal of understanding. There is power in the ability to ask meaningful questions and it is the knowledge found in those inquiries that can, quite literally, change the future of our organizations. The workshop will address how we help leaders ask better questions.

 3:45 – 4:00 PM - Day 1 Wrap-Up/Parking Lot Items for Day 2
The day concludes with a brief recap of our first today and confirmation of the important non-agenda items that were put in the parking lot and will be addressed on Day 2.
